Georgia PIRC is a site set up to provide parents with information and resources to use in their role as primary educators of their children.
The purpose of the PIRC program, as established by the US Department of Education, is to help implement successful and effective parental involvement policies, programs, and activities that lead to improvements in student academic achievement and strengthen partnerships among parents, teachers, principals, administrators, and other school personnel in meeting the educational needs of children.

Each state in the US and several of the US territories has its PIRC. The Georgia PIRC Challenge:  To empower, enable, and ennoble parents throughout the State of Georgia to play ever more influential and personally meaningful roles in the education of their children.
